A Formula for Success The Contra Costa Software Business Incubator (CCSBI) is a non-profit educational and charitable corporation whose mission is 1) to create new job opportunities for local residents and, 2) to further the economic development goals of local governments. CCSBI uses the proven process of business incubation as its primary means of achieving these objectives. CCSBI's educational and business assistance programs are designed to support entrepreneurial development and business ownership in order to assure the long-term economic stability and quality of life in this region. In addition to creating jobs, one of CCSBI's long-term goals is to develop the physical, economic and social infrastructure in the community necessary to support the kind of technical businesses that will graduate from the Incubator. This includes 1) educating civic leaders about the needs of high-tech companies, 2) creating a network of service providers and vendors and 3) providing access to specialized internet and telecommunications technology.
